GEOTEK JSC has completed seismic surveys in the Samara Region and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug

Press Releases

The seismic exploration parties of 477 and 212 Branches of GEOTECH JSC have successfully completed field research in the Samara Region and Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug), demonstrating a high level of professionalism and the use of innovative technologies.

The research within the framework of the Samara project took place in difficult man-made conditions, including areas with developed transport infrastructure and proximity to settlements. Despite the geological and weather conditions of the area, all types of production operations were completed in full and in a short time. The field material has been fully accepted for processing. The supervisor service and the customer noted the high production culture and the quality of the data received.

During the work in the Samara region, for the first time in Russia, the latest Vostok BV62T vibration systems were used, which demonstrated their high reliability and efficiency, ensuring impeccable seismic signal quality.

SP-212 has successfully implemented a project in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug using two technologies at once: explosive and pulsed sources of seismic signal excitation in motion. This approach has made it possible to reduce the loss of seismic information in areas with dense infrastructure, swampy and flooded areas.

The work on MOGT 3D was carried out on an area of 142 square kilometers using the "Green Seismic" technology ©. The data obtained will form the basis of geological decisions on the search and preparation of oil-promising facilities for further field development.
